Rainy Day Games

Stormy Day Indoor Game

Written by Suzie

The weather just doesn’t seem to be getting any better, and there’s no way I felt like heading out to the supermarket! So here’s a game I came up with at home from things in the stationary drawer…

1. Use coloured sticky tape to create a ‘route’  or ‘map’ on the floor. If you’ve only got see-thru sticky tape then you can cut out strips of paper and stick these down to form your ‘route’. If you’ve got a tiled floor then your route could go around the lines.

2. Give your little one a  straw and show them how to blow a pom pom along the route.

3. After practising this you can turn the game into a race or even a game of ‘blow’ football!

… We’d love to hear what your indoor rainy games are! Send them to our Facebook wall! Xx
