Art Workshop: Make a Moving Animation; Imperial War Museum London, 25th March – 10th April

Get creative at this art workshop where children can make a spinning drawing based on a 19th century toy! They can also use drawings and will learn how to make them move like an animation!

Create your own watery gadgets by learning about the inventions and tools which were used in London’s docks! This is part of an action packed programme of events at the Museum of London Docklands for the Easter holidays.

Join the RSPB volunteers and see the beautiful grey herons living in this beautiful woodland as they build their nests and look after their young.

Easter Fun; Heartlands; Redruth, Cornwall, 25th March – 10th April

As well as having plenty of fun in the Adventure Playground and the climb on sculptures, the little ones can get creative in the visitor centre with plenty of arts and crafts to enjoy!

Clore Explorers; National Museum, Cardiff, running until 18th December 2016

As well as being able to explore this fantastic museum from paintings to dinosaurs, there are also fun craft activities going on to keep the little ones even more entertained!

Horrible Histories: Blitzed Britains; Imperial War Museum North; Manchester, 9th and 10th April

Get the kids learning about what life was like living in Britain during the war. This fantastic interactive exhibition inspired by the Horrible Histories is sure to be an exciting experience for all and includes over 200 objects, film clips and photos!

Find out all about the First World War through re-enactment by a war soldier and a Scottish Hospital nurse! You’ll learn about how they coped with injuries and the technology and medicine they had available. This is best suited to families with children aged 8 and over.
