Springtime offspring: where to see adorable animals

The sun is out and spring has sprung,
Animals everywhere are giving birth to young.
Where can you see calves, lambs and chicks?
Just take a look at this list of six!

Chessington World of Adventures, Chessington, Surrey

Shanga, the Western Lowland gorilla, gave birth on Thursday 19th April! They don’t know the gender yet so the little baby doesn’t have a name but we’ll know within the next few months. Find out more here.

Windmill Animal Farm, Ormskirk, Lancashire

Say hello to Anastasia, the Gloucestershire Old Spot, and her adorable piglets. See a range of lambs, from the Swiss Valais, to the rare breed Herbridean! Find out more here.
