A fun and easy way to develop letter recognition and early reading skills. Great for those rainy days…

You need:

• Magnetic Letters, buy here: http://amzn.to/1bOpsC2

• Paper clips

• Sticks/ chopsticks

• String/ pipe cleaners

To play:

• Tie the paper clips to your string / pipe cleaner

• Then tie or stick your string / pipe cleaner to your stick

• Pour the magnetic letters into a big bowl

• Start fishing and get your children to spell out words with the letters they catch

Okay so there a few sharp bits but the idea is that you do this them to help them recognise letters and make words….!
