Bristol is this year’s ‘European Green Capital’ and this means this year’s Festival of Nature is bigger than ever! Throughout the weekend there will be talks, activities and performances. There’s so much going on it’s worth checking the programme, however my top picks are; the ‘Pond dipping’ exhibition in Millennium square where children can hunt for pond bugs and look at them under a microscope and in Anchor Square check out the amazing pop up butterfly garden! The world famous BBC Natural History Unit will be displaying all the fancy gizmos that help them create their amazing shows, plus you could even meet some well known presenters including Bill Oddie and Cbeebies Andy Day. e throughout the festival.
