Vamousse: It’s nit a problem anymore!

Written by Emily Hymus

As the summer is coming to an end,
It’s time to start watching out for our crawly friends.
Take a peek at this product that helps keeps head lice at bay,
It smells great, works quickly, and not much to pay!

The new school year is here already, and for many parents, the worry of head lice will also be approaching too. It can be difficult to find an efficient way of tackling the problem head-on, but Vamousse Head Lice Treatment is a product that’s proven to kill 100% of lice and eggs within just 15 minutes in scientific tests.

Head lice are very common, so being able to apply a product so conveniently and easily is fantastic. Vamousse Head Lice Treatment is also silicone oil free with a good fragrance – a perfect product for Mums! Suitable for children from 2 years old, read these steps for how to use it!

Wrap a towel around your child’s shoulder and make sure their hair is dry.ion to get rid of this very louse-y problem!

 Divide hair into 4 sections

After de-tangling your child’s hair, divide hair into 4 even sections and shake the can of Vamousse Head Lice Treatment prior to use.

 Apply mousse on to scalp

After you’ve shaken the can, part hair into sections every 2cm and apply the mousse onto scalp. This should be done thoroughly, massaging into the scalp and moving down towards the ends of the hair. After the first section of hair is saturated, secure that section of hair and repeat the process with the remaining sections.

Make sure the hair is completely saturated, paying close attention to the nape of the neck and behind the ears – where the lice like to hide!

Remove any remaining dead lice and eggs with the supplied nit comb supplied

After 15 minutes, to ensure all lice and eggs are removed,  use the nit comb that is supplied with the product and comb through the hair. Work slowly from the scalp and pull the comb down to the ends of the hair, making sure to wipe away the remaining dead lice and eggs on some kitchen roll or similar, before your next comb-through. If hair dries during coming, apply more product.

Shampoo, pat dry, and say goodbye!

After 15 minutes and combing, make sure to thoroughly shampoo your child’s hair after the application.

Use Vamousse protective shampoo to avoid future outbreaks!

Vamousse also provides a protective shampoo to help kill lice before they lay eggs. It can be used in place of your regular shampoo, in times of high risk. Be sure to make use of this! Find out more about Vamousse and other products in their range here.
