1. Over 300 people & 100 builders

It took a team of over 300 hundred people to bring to life the new London Dungeon. This includes more than 100 builders from 43 different trades! Designers, engineers, scriptwriters, theatre directors, costume designers, and make-up artists all teamed up to bring this spooky attraction to life.

2. Legendary Acting

Legendary British actor, Brian Blessed, will play the murderous monarch, Henry the 8th for the very first time when he appears virtually via a high-tech 3D projection!

3. Fantastic shows & rides

The London Dungeons is now more than a third bigger and lasts over 90 minutes. Discover 1000 years of history in 18 shows performed by 20 actors with plenty of shocks and surprises for you and the family! You’ll also have access to two state of the art thrill rides!

4. Ultra-Realism

The stunningly realistic cadaver in the Surgeon’s operating theatre cost £10,000 to make and each hair is individually inserted!

5. Giant precision blades

Giant precision cutting blades were needed to break through six foot thick walls to create some of the new show spaces! This includes the lofty 16 metre tall, 14 metre wide recreation of London’s mediaeval city gates!

6. Drop Dead ride

Builders bored through three stories to literally drop the deadly dark drop ride, aptly named Drop Dead, in place!

7. Skulls & Horror

13 replica skulls are featured throughout the attraction, along with a healthy smattering of full skeletons and severed limbs!

8. The torture chamber

The torture chair in the torture chamber features 593 tiny metal spikes! The resident torturer also has more than 70 torture instruments at his disposal, so you better be on your best behavior!

9. The spooky atmosphere

A damp dungeon atmosphere permeates through the attraction with ceilings that have been specially created to drip!

10. Nooses, keys, and tankards

35 nooses hang from the noose room ceiling, 26 rusty keys jangle in the Jailor’s room, and more than 200 tankards and glasses line the shelves of the Ten Bells Pub!
