Vodka
With natural deodorizing properties, you can use this to freshen clothes. Spritz on hung up clothes and once try it is odourless and your clothes will be too! Its also amazing for bathroom cleaning and will add shine to chrome, glass and porcelain. Just pour on a cloth and wipe!

Lemons
These have natural bleaching and antiseptic properties and are great for removing difficult stains like coffee and grass! You can use the juice and the peel.

Salt
On it’s own salt is a fab abrasive for getting tricky grime off pans. Mixed with water it’s brilliant for removing blood stains from fabric. Stained carpet? No problem salt and water and perfect at removing any sort of carpet stain.

Potato skins
Use these with a bit of washing up liquid on and they are excellent at removing rust!

Onions
The only way to clean glass and windows. Try it!

Baking Soda
The ultimate all-purpose cleaner. Mix with water and use everywhere, even on jewellery.

Rice
Use rice mixed with a little water to swoosh around the difficult to reach bottoms of glasses and vases.

Vinegar
Ok, so this one isn’t so unusual. White is great at shining windows and stain removing, but don’t use it on natural surfaces such as granite or wood as it’s too acidic.

Happy spring cleaning!
