Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle sent the world aflutter following the announcement of their engagement in December 2017. The wedding, which will take place on Saturday 19th May 2018, is said to be a more casual affair within a rustic barn at Windsor Castle. Fancy hats at the ready!

As if royal fever wasn’t already at a high, Prince William and Princess Kate will give birth to their third child, with the couple announcing the pregnancy in September 2017.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Your little dinos will love that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is going to hit the cinemas in June 2018. This roar-some sequel is the fifth addition to the franchise, and is based four years after the previous film. How will Owen and Claire fare as they head back to the island of Isla Nublar to save the dinosaurs from an erupting volcano?
Frozen the Musical
No, we won’t “Let it Go”, we’re super excited that this much loved Disney film is now set to hit Broadway in 2018! With exquisite stagecraft bringing the animated characters to life in spectacular fashion, we can’t wait to see Elsa, Anna, Olaf and more take to the stage!
Avengers: Infinity War
Little (and big!) Marvel fanatics are eagerly awaiting the next instalment of the Avengers series, which follows on from the hugely successful Marvel’s The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. You’ll be sure to see lots of excited mini Hulks, Captain America’s and Black Widows in the run up to May 2018!
Mamma Mia 2
Mamma Mia… here we go again! ABBA and cheery musical fans alike will see Meryl Streep return for this sparkling and sequin embellished sequel, and with superstar Cher set to make an appearance, we really will be singing thank you for the music!
FIFA World Cup
After a four year wait, the beautiful game is set to return in 2018, with Russia and Saudi Arabia kicking things off at Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow on 14th June. Involving 32 national teams, and will see a total of 64 matches played in 12 venues located in 11 cities. England face paint and scarves at the ready!
Taylor Swift to Tour the UK
Following her hugely successful new 2017 album “Reputation”, Taylor Swift will bring her eagerly anticipated tour to the UK in 2018. Taking to the stage in Manchester, Dublin and London in June, we’ll be ready to “Shake if Off” and have the lyrics to our favourite songs down in no time!
Doctor Who Returns
For fans of Doctor Who, 2018 will see the see the main character return as a woman for the first time! Played by Jodie Whittaker, and with a new host of characters set to make an exciting appearance, this much loved series will return to the BBC later in the year.
The Winter Olympics
For sports fanatics, the 2018 Winter Olympics is sure not to disappoint. Taking place over the city of PyeongChang, South Korea for two weeks in February, the games will feature Nigeria’s first ever representation with the women’s Nigerian bobsled team taking to the ice to compete.
