For a family day out with a real difference take to the Brighton skies where little eyes will be dazzled with spectacular views for up to 26 miles. We’re really excited to announce that British Airways i360 is now open and giving visitors the opportunity to ride in the world’s very first vertical cable car which takes you an incredible 450 feet high!
A Breathtaking View
You’ll step into a very funky glass pod which was designed by the same architects responsible for the famous London Eye, and glide up the observation tower. The flight is slow which means you can truly enjoy the 360 degree views of Sussex before you reach your highest point – a staggering 450 feet above the ground. This really is a memorable way to enjoy the views of the beautiful south coast!
Fun For All The Family
If you think this attraction isn’t suitable for children then think again! Before your ‘flight’ the kids will love watching the animations which show how British Airways i360 was built which will really get them excited! Once in the pod, they will absolutely love the views where they’ll be able to see the South Downs National Park, the UNESCO World Biosphere, the Brighton architecture, and of course the deep blue sea! There’s plenty of space to move around in the pod – in fact there’s room for 200 visitors, so explore your way around checking out the views from all different angles.
How Long Will The Experience Last?
Expect your visit to last around an hour which includes a pre-ride experience and a flight on the vertical cable car which lasts 20-30 minutes (depending on when you visit) however don’t miss out on a visit to the exhibition and the shop! In addition, due to open in 2017, is an indoor soft play zone which is aimed at the under 8’s and a party room for children’s birthday parties!

Even better, right in front of British Airways i360 is the seafront so the kids can also enjoy some time on the pebble beach. The Sea Life Centre is only a 10 minute walk away – so there’s plenty to do for a really fab family day out in Brighton!
