If you’re planning a Disneyland® Paris holiday,
Read our tips on how to surprise your kids about their stay!
From a Mickey Call to a letter through the door,

I’m sure one of these ideas they will adore!

Going to Disneyland® Paris is a magical trip the whole family will remember! Why not start off the trip with a fun surprise reveal. I’ve created 5 fun ways you can surprise your kids that they are going to Disneyland® Paris!

1. ☎️Arrange a Mickey Call!☎️

What better way for your little ones to hear they’re going to Disneyland® Paris than to hear it from Mickey Mouse himself! When you book tickets with Picniq, we include a FREE Mickey Call with all bookings. Simply book your time slot and have your little ones answer the phone to Mickey Mouse as he makes the big reveal! I’m sure you’ll hear lots of squeals of excitement after this phone call. To get a free Mickey Call, simply book your tickets with Picniq and also save 39% off here.

2. Plan a scavenger hunt!

A scavenger hunt is a really fun and interactive way to tell your little ones you’re off to Disneyland® Paris! To plan your scavenger hunt, make a map with clues to areas around the house and leave Disney-themed items at each place. At the end, you can have a piece of paper or an envelope with the big reveal! Some items you could use for your scavenger hunt are items you will need for your trip, such as Mickey ears, an autograph book, pens or a Disney-themed backpack.

3. Send a letter in the post!

This idea is super cute when you see their faces light up! For this idea, simply write a letter as if it is from Mickey Mouse or their favourite Disney character telling them that they are off for a magical holiday! You can even get Mickey Mouse stationery from online along with placing Disney character stickers on the letter or envelope.

4. 🍕Disney inspired meal!🍕

Tell kids they are off to Disney at the dinner table! As Disneyland® Paris is in France, you could have a french themed breakfast but with Mickey Mouse cups and plates or you could have fully shaped Mickey Mouse food. Some food ideas are Mickey Mouse shaped pizzas for dinner or pancakes for breakfast and ask them if they notice anything about the food before making the big reveal! This is a really fun way to get super creative with.

5. Balloon reveal!

This reveal is really sweet! Simply get a decorative box, you could get a Disney-themed one if you wanted or a plain one to not ruin the surprise, then, place a Disney character balloon inside so when the box is opened, the balloon will come out and you can reveal the surprise. I’m sure they’ll be so surprised when they see the balloon pop out!
