These cute butterflies are great to make for mothers day and use the old toilet rolls that you end up unintentionally gathering. Fun and simple to do, here’s how…
What you need:
- Mixture of coloured card
- Pipe cleaners
- Black Pen
- PVA glue
How to make:
1) Fold a piece of card in half and cut one large semi circle followed by one smaller semi circle, unfold and you will see the wind shape.
2) Repeat what you did with the other piece of card, but make this one a little smaller.
3) Stick the smaller piece of card onto the bigger piece
4) I then wrapped a piece of coloured card around the toilet tube, but you could use paint to decorate the tube instead.
5) Twist two pipe cleaners around your finger to make them curl, then attach them to the inside of the toilet roll.
6) Using plenty of PVA glue stick the tube to the wings you have made
6) Decorate with spots, hearts, glitter anything pretty.
7) Write a lovely message
