We’ve found some fantastic festive locations up and down the country where your little ones can meet their much loved cartoon characters during the Christmas period!

Tiny and Small from the Clangers – King William Street, Blackburn, 19th November

Don’t miss an action packed show in Blackburn ahead of the Christmas Lights switch-on. To entertain the little ones, Tiny and Small from the Clangers will be doing a meet and greet before the show and they will also be on hand to help illuminate the street for the festive period!

Peppa Pig – Jubilee Square, Woking, 19th  November, from 1.30pm (Lights Switch On 7pm)

During the afternoon there will be plenty of family entertainment leading up to the festive light switch-on. CBBC’s Swashbuckle, Milkshake Live, and Peppa Pig along with George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig will take to the stage to entertain the children (and parents).

Sid and Scrat from Ice Age – Grimsby Town Centre, 19th November

This year the characters from Ice Age, Sid and Scrat, will be heading to Grimsby for the Big Christmas event where they will be kicking off the festivities, and children will have the opportunity to meet them!

Frozen’s Elsa and Ana – Guildhall Square, Derry City, Northern Ireland, 19th November, 7:30pm

Santa will be visiting Guildhall Square for the Christmas Lights switch-on and this year assisting him will be Elsa and Ana from Frozen!

Bing and Flop – Gillingham High Street, Kent, 20th November

Come along and meet lovable children’s favourites Bing and Flop from CBeebies as they assist the Mayor when he switches on the beautiful Christmas Lights at 5pm. With plenty of entertainment and fun for all the family, this is an event not to be missed!

Bob the Builder – Friary Place, Strood, Kent, 21st November

With competitions, choir singing, and of course appearances from Bob the Builder himself, visit Strood for a festive extravaganza of family fun where the Deputy Mayor will be lighting up the town at 5pm!

Head to Coventry for the Christmas Lights switch on with a guest appearance from kids favourite character, The Gruffalo.

Visit Colchester Zoo as they celebrate the magical festive period with Christmas party to switch on their Christmas lights. Not only will the big man in red be there, but also special guests The Snowman™ and The Snowdog will be waiting to meet you!

Hamleys Christmas Toy Parade, London, 28th November, 10:30am

The greatest toy shop in the world will be hosting the biggest Christmas toy parade in London and is sure to be every child’s dream! The line up is phenomenal with lots of family favourites to see and children will have the opportunity to meet and greet their most loved characters. Look out for Fireman Sam, Barbie and her pink limo, Sonic the Hedgehog, Twirly Woos to name but a few!
