What could possibly be worse than the stress of Christmas shopping? Oh yes, the thought of having to wrap it all! Remember guys once it’s done, it’s done, so bite the bullet and get it out the way. Although we can’t wrap it for you (as much as we’d love to help you out) we’ve come up with some handy hints and tips to make life just a bit easier for you! Good luck!
When buying your wrapping paper, check the length of the roll to make sure you’ll have enough.
Quality of the paper makes a difference. Although cheap paper is great for kids ripping open their presents, it tears easily when wrapping.
Buy a box for odd shaped presents.
As tempting as it is to sit in front of Eastenders, on the floor, with a mountain of unwrapped presents, wrap on a solid flat surface – it will make life so much easier!
Use a tape dispenser, or spend a few minutes snipping before you start wrapping.
Stick some blu-Tack on the sticky side of the tape so that you can easily find the end.
Drape paper round the gift before cutting – there’s nothing more annoying than cutting to ‘size’ and realising it won’t fit all the way round the present!
And if you’re really stuck, use tin foil…just fold and scrunch! Sorted 😉
Hope this helps and if you have any other tips, please share them with us!
