It’s the most spooky time of the year and our fantastic attractions have some fang-tastic events that are sure to be full of skele-fun for the season!
LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
This Halloween, everyone’s favourite LEGO vampire is inviting all little monsters and their families for a spooky celebration! From the 17th October until 2nd November, join Lord Vampyre for a day full of wickedly awesome activities! Featuring all-new Halloween activities for 2019 such as Creepy Cobweb Castle, Monster Rocker’s Dance Party and the return of Brick or Treat trail, you’ll have lots to get you into the spooky spirit! Boo! You’re invited for ZSL Whipsnades ‘Boo at the Zoo’ this Halloween! See all your favourite animals at the zoo as usual along with taking part in the spooktastic activities. From themed animal talks to Halloween activities such as arts & crafts, pumpkin carving, Halloween storytime & ghoul school, casting spells, wrap the mummy and a pumpkin party. Screamland is BACK! For a limited few nights, Dreamland in Margate will once again mutate into Screamland, a festival of scare, with a world of chills, thrills and horror awaiting you! London Bridge Experience
This attraction promises some horrifying Educational Fun! Experience London’s gruesome history first hand with this interactive character-led adventure tour! Be prepared for thrills, laughs and frights as you are regaled with stories from the past. Meet some of London’s most horrifying characters as they lurk in the ‘lanes’ including Jack the Ripper and Ben Crouch. Book here.
From the 23rd October to 3rd November, Cheddar Gorge is teaming up with The Natural Theatre Company to put on a ghostly show! Head to Gough’s Cave and help the detective duo solve the mystery along with seeing characters Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster & Bill Sikes. Trick or treat yourself to a trip down to Lightwater Valley as it transforms to Frightwater Valley this Halloween! From live scare mazes for older kids to spooky character meet & greets, magic shows and trick or treat doors for your little monsters, you’ll be able to find the perfect family fright night here. ZSL London Zoo
Head to London Zoo and keep the little monsters with their family-friendly Halloween themed activities including daily ‘Grim-keeper tours,’ Halloween arts and crafts, animal talks with a twist and you can even head to the pumpkin patch for a cheeky selfie! Godstone Farm is putting on a fang-tastic Halloween celebration! Filled with pumpkin carving, trick or treat doors and a brand-new “Light Illusion Tunnel”, you’ll be spoiled for choice. There is also crafts, a spooky quiz, face painting and spooky tales for you to get involved in. Don’t forget to take a picture of the animals on the farm! Join Adventure Wonderland from 26th October until 3rd November for some Halloween fun! All of the exciting park rides will be open along with a Halloween Show, live-action scary maze along with a Spooktacular Monster Bash on the evening of 30th and 31st October. Trick or treat! Head over to Kent Life from 19th until 27th October and take part in trick or treating at the farm’s historic houses. You can also take part in lots of other activities such as testing your skills at pumpkin carving, cuddle adorable animals at cuddle corner and have a spooky farm ride all whilst dressing up in your best fancy dress! If your family are more into creepy adventures, make sure to visit Kent Life After Dark for a spooktacular guided tour and Ugly Bug Ball! If your little ones love CBeebies, Alton Towers Resort Scarefest is a must-do Halloween event! Join Franklyn, Skelvin, Patch and Gretyl in a trip to their colourful Halloween playland. Patch’s Halloween Party is bigger and better this year featuring four shows full of fun and silliness for little monsters to enjoy! Nickelodeon Land is getting a Halloween makeover and is inviting you to come and see it! From the 12th until 31st October, come in your best fancy dress and take part in Nick or Treating along with getting your face painted by one of the onsite freaky face painters. Chessington World of Adventures Resort
From 12th October until 3rd November Chessington World of Adventures Resort is putting on a scare-fest for the whole family to enjoy! Once the sun goes down, the eerie, the spooky and the creepy come out to play. Start your night by untangling the web of lies at the new attraction Spyders. After, take a visit to Trick or Treat Wood and see a Howl’o’ween Live show along with going on all the fun and thrilling rides in the dark. If you love animals, the spooky animal shows are a must-see! For children over 10 who love a spook, make sure to visit Creepy Caves Unearthed and follow the Secret Agents through the quarantined attraction. The Canterbury Tales
If you love historical stories, you’ll love the Halloween ‘Spook Quest’ at The Canterbury Tales! Grab your best Halloween costume and help Zelda, the famous Medieval witch, find all the ingredients around the attraction to make a potion and cure the plague! Just like the name says, prepare to ‘Get Spooked’ at Dreamland this Halloween! From the 19th until the 27th October, head down with your little ones and prepare for a day full of family-friendly Halloween fun. From mazes, ghoulish party games, devilish disco dancing to spooky crafts there’s lots going on here! Animal lovers can also experience a special creepy crawlies experience and meet spiders and reptiles at the Dreamland Ark. Make sure to also have a ride on Dreamland’s new and vintage rides! Are you brave enough for this event? For two days, Conkers invites families to come along and follow footsteps into the haunted woods! Featuring ghostly ghouls, witches and trolls will you be able to escape? You can also enjoy a trip on the runaway train before having a boogie at the “Ugly Bugs Disco” in your best costume to see if you can win one of the creepy prizes! Families can also show their artistic skills by taking part in one of the craft activities before watching a Flip & Dippy show. Get ready to board a giant pumpkin and see a spooktacular display of decorated pumpkins onboard this attraction! The amazingly spooky pumpkins have been carved by local school children and artists and are sure to put a smile on you and your little ones face. Make sure to enter the competition to win lots of cool prizes by bringing in your very own pumpkin which you carved by 30th October. Halloween at Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre!
Head to Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre from 26th October to 3rd November for some Halloween fun this Half Term! Kids will love the FREE Halloween trail, quiz, crafts, play area and pumpkin carving for only £1 per person! There will also be daily displays and reptile shows too! Head on over to Hounslow Urban Farm from 19th October until 4th November and join in with the spooky fun!
