These easy crafts are sure to make you have a great time!

🔮Magic Wand Reading Pointers🔮

You will need:

Craft sticks/Ice lolly sticks
Paint
Glittery card
Glue
Gems

Method:

Step 1: Paint your craft stick whatever colour you like!
Step 2: Take your glittery card and cut the shape of a star out. Next, place the star on top of the craft stick.
Step 3: Add gems to decorate your craft stick and use to follow the words whilst reading!

💜Home-made Playdough💜

You will need:

250g flour
50g salt
140ml water
1 to 2 tablespoons of oil
Few drops food colouring

Method:

Step 1: Mix together the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add the water and oil.
Step 2: Knead well until mixture is smooth about 10 mins. You might need to add a bit more flour or water until the consistency is smooth but not sticky.
Step 3: Add food colouring and knead until the colour is fully blended.
Step 4: Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator until chilled enough to use.

🤩Clothespeg Dragonfly🤩

You will need:

Wooden clothespegs
Paint colours of your choice (try and have two different colours!)
Googly eyes
Colourful pipe cleaners
Glue

Method:

Step 1: Choose your colours of paint and start by painting stripes along with clothespeg.
Step 2: Next, take your glue and put two dots where the eyes will be and stick your google eyes on!
Step 3: Take two pipe cleaners and criss-cross them inside the clothespeg so they make the wings.
Step 4: Your Dragonfly is complete! Find the perfect place to put it.

💛Jellyfish Salt Painting💛

You will need:

Blue card
PVA glue
Watercolours or food colouring mixed with water
Salt

Method:

Step 1: Take your glue and draw your jellyfish using the glue.
Step 2: Sprinkle salt all over the glue jellyfish shape. Shake the access salt off to leave just the outline of your jellyfish shape.
Step 3: Taking your watercolours or food colouring, dip a brush into the colour and tap the salt to see the colour spread!

🐢Egg Carton Turtles🐢

You will need:

Egg cartons
Green pipe cleaners
Different green and brown paint
Googly eyes
Green pom-poms

Method:

Step 1: Cut your egg carton into sections leaving only the part where the eggs would be.
Step 2: Paint your egg carton green and paint small rectangles around to make the shell. You can paint the rectangles in brown or a different shade of green!
Step 3: Stick the pom-pom on one side of the shell and glue googly eyes on to make the head.
Step 4: Lastly, cut and fold your pipe cleaners to make small legs and glue underneath the egg carton. Your turtle is complete!

✨Slime✨

You will need:

100ml PVA glue
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Gel food colouring
1 tsp contact lens solution
Glitter

Method:

Step 1: Squeeze the glue into a mixing bowl. Then, add your bicarbonate of soda and mix all together.
Step 2: Next, add a drop or two of your chosen gel food colouring and mix.
Step 3: Add the contact lens solution and mix until the slime begins to form.
Step 4: Once it has formed, take it out and knead until smooth.
Step 5: Finally add your glitter and enjoy!

⭐️Tissue Monster Box⭐️

You will need:

Tissue box
Paint
Large googly eyes
Pom-poms
White card
Glue
Black marker

Method:

Step 1: Take your empty tissue box and paint your desired colour. Once you have painted the outside paint the inside!
Step 2: Next, outline the opening of your tissue box with a black marker.
Step 3: Take your large googly eyes and stick on above the tissue box opening. After, stick your pom-poms on top! You can stick on as many as you like, but we did three.
Step 4: Finally, take your white card and cut into triangles. Then stick to the inside of the tissue box opening.
