The first 3 of these have actually been visited by the Duchess of Cambridge on special days out with Prince George.
Buckleberry Farm, Reading (Adults £9.95, Child £8.45)
Recently visited by Prince George where he enjoyed holding the animals in the ‘petting zoo’ area. At this family friendly farm you will meet llamas,lambs, pigs, goats and more! Plus children can enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas and nature trail.
Snettisham Park, Norfolk (Incl Safari Adult £12, Child £11)
Another Royal favourite! At this farm you can bottle feed cute lambs and groom the ponies. Take the deer safari via a tractor and trailer ride to feed the amazing herd of red deer, all of whom are happy to feed from your hand!.
Science Museum, London (Free)
According to news reports Prince George enjoyed a fun day at the museum recently, where he spent time in the Pattern Pod, an interactive, hands on gallery where young children can explore patterns in the world around them though ‘kaleido pattern’s’ (think digital finger painting!), puzzles and more. Children will also enjoy the Space gallery and The Garden where they can play with water, music and building bricks!
Longleat VIP Safari Tour (£350 Adult, £299 child)
Now this is something special!! (Aimed at kids 6+). This VIP tour lasts 6 hours and includes a tour in 4×4 transport with a personal guide. Up close and personal animal encounters, including the lions! Plus you will have the chance to HAND FEED the tigers!
Cowboy Adventure for Kids, New Forest (£49)
Perfect for wannabe cowboys – even if they’ve never ridden a horse before! They will spend time getting to know the super friendly ponies, then an hour riding them and practising basic skills in a training arena, followed by horseshoe throwing and lassoing lessons! Afterwards they will be treated to a yummy BBQ!
Lookout Lodge Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable (From £189 pp)
For something a little bit different and very special you can stay in a private lodge by the white rhino enclosure at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. You can experience the zoo as no-one else gets to, including a torchlight walk through the zoo, feeding some of the animals their breakfast and waking up to lions.
Dino Snores, Natural History Museum, London (£60)
Throughout the year the Natural History Museum organises a sleepover like no other. You will get to make your own dinosaur T-shirt, explore the museum by torchlight and watch a live science show, before snuggling down to sleep under the watchful gaze of the Diplodocus, beneath the life-size blue whale model, or in another exciting part of the Museum.
