Are you on the hunt to find the best-looking pumpkin to carve for Halloween? There are a number of pumpkin picking farms open this Autumn for you and your family to pick your own pumpkins straight from the field! Here’s our guide to some of the best places to go pumpkin picking across the UK:

South West

Sopley Farm, Christchurch, Dorset

Timings: 10am – 5pm throughout October (last entry is 1 hour before closing)
Prices: Entrance is free, you just pay for what you pick!

Farrington’s Farm Pumpkin Festival, Farrington, Bristol

Timings: 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 10th, 14th – 31st October 10:30am – 2:30pm
Prices: £2.50 each, under 2’s free

Pumpkin Carving at Roves Farm, Swindon

Timings: 20th – 31st October
Prices: Adult day ticket £10.80, Child day ticket £10.80, Toddler day ticket (1&2 yrs) £4.50, Baby (under 1yr) free

Timings: 16th – 31st October 10am – 4pm
Price: Entry only ticket £1 and choose whichever pumpkin you like and pay for it on the day OR purchase an entry + small/medium pumpkin ticket which is £4.75.

Pumpkin Patch Fun at Lewis of London! Go down and pick you own pumpkins at Dan’s pumpkin patch, with onsite carving, face painting, trick or treat ice cream and much more for Halloween fun. To gain entry to the pumpkin patch, every member of your party will need a pre-booked ticket, apart from under 1s which can be down online via their direct website. Find out more here!

Snarestone Pumpkin Farm, Swadlincote, Derbyshire

Timings: Halloween Grotto open everyday of October from Saturday 16th October
Prices: Free entry to the Halloween Grotto. Pumpkins are priced on size, starting at £1-£6 on average

Check out Snarestone Pumpkin Farm for the biggest and best pumpkins – the largest produced in the area! The farm is a working farm so it therefore it is not open to the public and there is no PYO farms, instead all pumpkins are displayed in the Halloween Grotto and ready for you to choose from.
