1) Pesky Husky, Scarborough
Learn all about these beautiful creatures, take them for a walk around the stunning North Yorkshire National Park or enjoy the exhilaration of being pulled along on one of the scooters.

2) Penguin Parade
At Edinburgh Zoo enjoy a ‘Penguin Parade’ – the parade most likely to melt your heart! You can watch these curious animals walk past the crowd and explore the zoo. Everyday at 2.15pm outside the Penguins Rock pool.

3) Zipworld, Snowdonia.
Now this is something for drenaline junkies, the reason this one is a little different is because it Europe’s fast zipline where you can reach speeds of up to 100mph. Put on your flying suit and get going!
4) Taking alpacas for a walk.
Alpacas are originally from South American and make great walking partners. These adorable creatures all have unique characters and love to be petted, make sure you take your camera!

5) The Pencil Museum
Ever wondered how pencils were made? bring the family here to learn all about the process and also see the worlds largest colour pencil.

6) House of Marbles
This slightly unusual attraction is still a working glass and games factory. See glass being made, see old games from years gone by and learn about the history of marbles.

7) Rollerskiing, London
Rollerskiing is a fantastic sport and a great way to get the family active, its a low-impact full body exercise and also lots of fun! All ages and abilities can give it a go and you can even get instruction in London, just don’t go on a rainy day!

8) Miniature Tank Driving
These miniature tanks are so much fun ! The whole family (aged 8+) can race around in their own scale model tank over the various obstacles.
