There are many great kids attractions to look out for!
1. Frozen Ever After
Location: World Showcase at Epcot: Attraction Type: Water Ride
Head to Epcot and jump on board a Nordic vessel as you take a musical journey tour through the wintery world of Frozen. You’ll come face to face with Anna, Olaf and many more Frozen friends before you take a trip to Queen Elsa’s enchanting ice palace!
2. AVATAR Flight of Passage
Location: Pandora- The World of AVATAR at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Attraction Type: 3d Thrill Ride
Older children aged between 5-7 will love this 3D thrill ride where you climb atop a winged mountain banshee for a breathtaking 3D journey over Pandora’s otherworldly landscape.
3. Kali River Rapids
Location: Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Attraction Type: Thrill & Water Ride
Hold on tight and prepare to get very wet as you raft down a roaring river set in the green jungle at the heart of Asia spinning around corners and plummeting down a 20-foot slope! You may want to take a waterproof poncho, extra clothes or towel to dry off!
4. Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Location: Fantasyland at Magic Kindom Park Attraction Type: Slow Ride
Younger children will love this attraction based on the 1941 animated film ‘Dumbo‘ this classic attraction is a favourite with younger visitors and allows you to control the altitude of your own flying elephant so riders have the option to fly high in the sky or take it easy down low!
5. Kilimanjaro Safaris
Location: Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Attraction Type: Slow Ride
Explore the Harambe Wildlife reserve home to 34 species in an open-air vehicle on a guided tour you won’t forget! Witness the gorgeous giraffe grazing on the tall trees or say hello to a swinging baboon. You may also encounter rhinos, cheetahs, crocodiles, elephants, hyenas, zebras and so many more!
6. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Location: Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park Attraction Type: Thrill Ride with small drops
Jump onboard this speedy mine train as you twist and turn through the Diamond mine from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Plunge down into the mine shaft where you’ll see the jewels glistening and hear the sounds of the Seven Dwarfs whistling and singing whilst they work.
7. Expedition Everest ™
Location: Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park Attraction Type: Thrill Ride with big drops
Older kids will love this thrill ride as they jump on board this speedy train that’ll take you on an exciting journey to the peak of Mount Everest! After a steep ascent, the train will pick up some serious speed before a broken track appears in front of you before you plummet backwards into total darkness! This ride is definitely suitable for the thrill seekers in the family and is one not to miss!
