I love camping, or at least the idea of camping; being outdoors camp fires, the stars…. but in reality I love my creature comforts and can’t see myself curled up on the floor in a sleeping bag. So I have started looking at ‘glamping’, camping for those of us who are not quite ready to embrace the basics. Here are a number of different ‘glamping’ options that I have found around the UK
Mill Farm – Devizes, Wiltshire
This gorgeous organic farm houses you in luxury canvas lodges! The fun, but stylish interiors are cosy with a double bed and also single beds in the adorable bunk barn! The farm also offers numerous activities to entertain the family including horse riding and straw play area.

For glamping with a difference join wanderlusts on a horse drawn gypsy caravan holiday in the stunning Lake District. This small family business offering a completely bohemian and wonderful trip away.
