There are some wonderful festivals with a fun family friendly vibe to take the children to this Summer. With great music, arts, crafts and kids entertainment these festivals make the perfect family get away. Get your camping gear out, gather up the kids and enjoy an atmosphere that will inspire the whole family!
1) Little Monsters Bash

Stanmer Park Brighton, 9th August

This family festival day has plenty of your children’s favourite acts to watch including; Dick and Dom, Alex Winters, The Octonauts, Waybuloo, Peppa Pig & George and lots more. In the Kids Kitchen and Food Zone you need to be prepared to get messy as you and the kids make culinary delights. You will find many other fantastic attractions including Baby & Sensory Area, Farm Area, Story Telling, Music & Dance, Creative & Crafts and lots more. 2) Lollibop Festival
Hatfield House, 15th, 16th & 17th August 2014
You will find some of the biggest kids entertainment stars at this festival including Justin Fletcher, Mister Maker, Mr Bloom, CBBC’s Sam & Mark and lots, lots more. The festival is aimed at children under the age of 10 and their families. There will be lots of interactive play, tuns to learn and plenty of fun to be found.

3) Larmer Tree Festival
Larmer Tree Gardens, Nr Sailsbury, Dorset 16th – 20th July
This super festival is quirky and fun for all of the family. There are shows especially for children, fancy dress, face painting, workshops and lots more. Music-wise you can see the legend that is Tom Jones, Squeeze, Frank Turner, Tom Odell and the Selecter.

4) Shambala
Northamptonshire, 21st – 24th August
With a huge selection of over 200 musicals acts, a cabaret, workshops, comedy and plenty more this festival has something for everyone. The kids will love all the different workshops, free-play, The Family Yurt, a Baby Pit-Stop and there is even a crèche.

5) Just So Festival
Rode Hall Parkland, Cheshire 15 – 17th August
Set up in 2009 this magical family festival has musical, theatrical, and visual performances, workshops and plenty more. All the activities aim to drive yours and your kid’s imagination wild with the many audience participation events. There are excellent facilities for babies and toddlers in the Peekaboo Café and there is a nappy changing tent and baby-feeding boudoir.

6) Summer Breeze, Nr Swindon
Liddington, Swindon 18th – 19th July
Set in the countryside in Wiltshire is this small independent family friendly festival. There will be plenty of chances of getting arty and creative with the kids, relaxing in the tea tent or even having a go at a workshop or two. On Friday and Saturday night there will be live music on the stages and there will be an excellent selection of eateries for you to indulge.

7) Camp Bestival
Lulworth Castle, Dorset 31st July – 4th August 2014
This family friendly festival is held in the grounds of a castle right by the sea. There is so much planned it will be hard to choose what to do; there will be circus skills, fairground rides, face painting, soft play, performances by Horrible Histories and Mr Tumble and lots more. There are excellent facilities for all of the family including a Toddlers’ Area and a Breastival Mother and Baby Chill Out area.

8) Beacons Festival
Skipton, North Yorkshire 7th – 10th August 2014
You will find cutting edge music and a stuffed-full arts programme at this relatively new festival. The family area of this festival has a Bob the Builder Café, dedicated kids workshops, a bespoke cinema and lots of entertainment for the kids and teens. See the Cabaret; enjoy the fancy dress parades, pop into a story telling session and lots more. For the adults there is an amazing eclectic choice of music, which appeals to many tastes, craft beers and a huge selection of tasty food stalls.

9) The 3foot People Festival
Chelmsford, Essex 24th, 25th & 26th June
This non-overnight festival is exclusively for children under the age of 5. The kids will love the village of tents, tepees and domes and the variety activities available inside them.

10) Port Eliot Festival
St Germans Cornwall 24th -27th July
You will find a huge array of family friendly activities and entertainment at this festival. There are also acres of outdoor spaces for the kids to explore and let their imagination go wild. In Hullabaloo you will be able to dance with trolls, take tea with a giant and mix with the pixies. For the grown ups there is a variety of entertainment, a diverse range of sumptuous foods and plenty more.
