Other popular mocktails

Watermelon Slushie

Not only will this delicious slushie go down a storm, but it’s also a super healthy alternative to traditional ice slushies that are packed with sugar!

One small watermelon, cubed

400ml unsweetened almond milk

A few mint sprigs to decorate

How to make:

Simply blend your watermelon cubes with your almond milk and pour into a fancy glass… don’t forget to add your mint sprigs for a sophisticated decoration!

Sparkly Strawberry Lemonade

This one’s also great for those after a little bit of fizz… the non alcoholic kind!

115ml ginger ale

115ml lemonade

Three strawberries

How to make:

Remove the tops of two of your strawberries before cutting them into fine pieces. Then, pour your lemonade and ginger into your glass before sprinkling the strawberries on top. Use your third strawberry as a garnish and enjoy!

Shirley Temple

Shirley Temple Cocktail Drink

Named after the famous curly-haired child film star this is a refreshing and sweet drink.

100ml ginger ale
30ml grenadine
30ml fresh lime juice
Fruit for garnish (optional)

How to make:
Add the ginger ale into a glass over some ice, followed by the lime juice and then the grenadine, which should sink to the bottom. Add fruit of your choice to garnish!

Pineapple Orange Mocktail

Crushed ice

200ml pineapple juice

25ml fresh orange juice

1 teaspoon of honey

How to make:

All you need to do to make this fresh and healthy mocktail is combine pineapple juice, orange juice and a dash of honey before pouring over crushed ice. The perfect colourful and fruity treat!

Virgin Mojito

I had to find a non-alcoholic version of my favourite, you can choose your mixer with this recipe but I personally use soda water.

15 mint leaves
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 lime, cut into wedges
1 tablespoon sugar syrup
1 tablespoon simple sugar syrup
Plenty of ice
Ginger ale/soda water/sparkling water/Sprite

How to make:
Add mint leaves and lime wedges to a cocktail shaker and crush them with a bar tool.  If you don’t have one you can use the end of a wooden spoon! Next add sugar syrup and sugar before shaking the mixture well.
Pour the mixture into three glasses and top up with some ice and add your mixer, which in a traditional mojito is soda water, but if you fancy something different try sparkling water, Sprite or ginger ale.

Pina Colada Mocktail

Try making this much loved cocktail with no alcohol for little ones after something a bit more fancy!

2 ripe bananas

A handful of freshly diced pineapple chunks

200ml pineapple juice

50ml coconut milk

Ice cubes

Pineapple wedges to garnish

How to make:

Blend your bananas, pineapple juice and coconut milk with ice cubes and then finish with a wedge of pineapple for a tropical decoration!

Mock Champagne

Two Bellini Cocktails

This is a tasty alternative to the real deal and great if you are celebrating.  All in one easy step…

2 litre bottle of ginger ale, chilled
350ml pineapple juice
1 bottle of white grape juice

How to make:
Just mix all the ingredients together into a large jug before serving. You could always serve with fresh strawberries for a treat!
