There are so many fun places we can explore!

Lyme Regis Fossil Festival, Dorset

30th April – 1st May 2022

The Lyme Regis Fossil Festival is returning this bank holiday weekends for endless science, discovery and fun! Located on the world famous Jurassic Coast, enjoy guided walks, talk and Q&As, Dinosaur Dome Shows (perfect for your little dino lovers) and much more. For more information, click here!

 

May Day Activities at The Tank Museum, Wareham

30th April – 2nd May 2022

The Tank Museum makes a brilliant day, with fascinating exhibitions to explore, over 300 tanks, explosive live displays and fun kids’ activities! Quayside Music Festival, Weymouth

Firmly established as one of Weymouth’s premiere events, The Quayside Musical Festival brings in a huge range of talented musicians for the whole family to listen to and enjoy! The stage is located on Weymouth Quayside along Weymouth Town Bridge and The Rendezvous Harbour side pub. BBC Gardeners’ World Spring fair at Beaulieu, Hampshire

29th April – 1st May 2022

The brilliant BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair will be taking place in the stunning grounds of Beaulieu this May Bank Holiday weekend! Key features of this Spring Fair includes Beautiful Borders and The Hillier Experience along with BBC Good Food Market and live entertainment too. Spring Steam Gala at Mid-Hants Railway ‘Watercress Line’, Hampshire

For a fun family day out over the 3-day weekend, hop on board the Watercress Line for the Spring Steam Gala! This years event will feature a Goods Train theme, and is a fantastic chance to see and ride behind guest engines and their home-fleet locomotives. Plus, enjoy talks and various exhibits as you explore the heritage stations along the 10 mile line between Alresford and Alton.

Thomas The Tank Engine at East Lancashire Railways, Bury

30th April – 2nd May 2022

This Bank Holiday Weekend, Thomas The Tank Engine will be taking center stage at East Lancashire Railway! Your excited little ones will get to meet Sir Topham Hatt at the station and say hello to Thomas from the platform before hopping on board a carriage to be pulled by the famous blue engine to Ramsbottom. Camp Severn Kids Festival Experience, Shrewsbury

Experience the giddiness of a family festival just for the one day with Camp Severn Kids Festival coming to Shrewsbury this May Day! Tickets include performances from three top acts which are Big Peter’s Monster Trucks, Vander Space Wheel and Panic Circus.
