I love taking my little ones to the theatre or to see a live show, there are some really fantastic shows around at the moment! Here are some that I thought all the family would enjoy…
Peppa Pig’s Big Splash
Singing and dancing with Peppa and friends!
This is a great show where the whole family will end up singing and dancing along as Peppa and her friends try to fix the leaking nursery roof. The whole cast will get you involved as you all have an adventure watching the super- cute puppets and singing-a-long with them!

If your little ones enjoy Disney or watching Ice skating then-this show is for them.There are four fun Disney stories; watch as the dancers perform high speed stunts as the crew from CARS, enjoy the costumes, characters and the story of The Little Mermaid’s underwater kingdom, admire the beautiful fairies and pixies including Tinkerbell and then see the Toy Story Gang attempt to escape from Sunnyside Day Care. Everyone will enjoy the spectacle of costumes, stunts, special effects and the Disney characters.

Disney’s The Lion King
Based on the incredible Disney movie
The whole family will be wowed by the extravaganza that is The Lion King musical. The costumes are stunning, there are beautiful puppets, you will hear the songs from the movie and some new ones. Follow Simba from the wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. This is great for children and adults also!

Parents and young children will enjoy stepping into this magical world and seeing Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka. There are beautiful costumes, magical puppets and enchanting music and projections. What we like the most is the purpose built showdome, which means there are only 13 rows- so everyone gets great views and are up-close to the action.

Roald Dahl’s Matilda
Much loved Roald Dahl story as a musical!
A magical story that adults and children alike will enjoy. You will laugh at this witty story as Matilda changes as she starts at her new school. There are fantastic songs, props and characters and you will enjoy watching her journey as she meets Miss Trunchbull and she discovers her magical powers.
