Set in The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park the ArcelorMittal Orbit is Britain’s tallest sculpture, standing at 114.5 meters. From the 360 degree viewing platforms visitors will enjoy breathtaking views for 20 miles across the Olympic Park and the London Skyline, including Canary Wharf, O2, The Gerkin, St Paul’s Cathedral and The Shard! If you’re looking for an active day out, then Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will not disappoint! Head to the Lee Valley Velopark, where Sir Chris Hoy and Dame Sarah Storey, along with their Team GB and Paralympics GB compatriots, set the London 2012 Games alight! The Velopark caters to all abilities and you can even hire a bike on site.

Head to the Tumbling Bay Playground to find rock pools, sand pits, tall treehouses and wobbly bridges! In the Pleasure Gardens you’ll find gigantic red rocks form challenging climbing frames up to broad slides, with oversized swings and a giant sand pit… perfect for little active explorers!

To refuel after a fun packed day, head over to the Timber Lodge Cafe… which produces its own green energy using solar panels.
