5. Summer Nights, West Midlands Safari Park

West Midland Safari Park really has something for everyone. Get up close to your favourite animals at the safari drive-through experience. For more thrills and turns, head to the adventure theme park. Then step back in time and see the UK’s largest animatronic dinosaur attraction, Land of the Living Dinosaurs! 6. Summer at Warwick Castle

Explore the picturesque castle and grounds with daily shows planned for the duration of summer. The Falconer’s Quest is the UK’s biggest birds of prey show, featuring live-action aerial acrobatics from up to 70 birds! 7. Mr Mulligans Adventure Golf, Broadway Plaza

Now we all know that British summertime can sometimes be a bit soggier than we’d like. Mr Mulligans is the perfect place for rainier days. This unforgettable venue showcases some of the most unique crazy golf holes in the UK. The alien-themed course is really out-of-this-world! Take a closer look.

9. Alton Towers, Stoke on Trent

Meet some weird and wonderful creatures, including rays, sharks, jellyfish, octopus, turtles, eels, clownfish and even otters! Regular feedings take place and you can see the hard work all the staff do and even ask them questions about your favourite sea creature. Throughout summer discover what treasures are lurking beneath the sea as pirates and mermaids take over! Take a closer look.

10. Winterbourne House, Edgbaston

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a peaceful day out at this heritage attraction. Explore this 7 acre oasis which is home to over 6000 plant species! As you stroll around the Edwardian house, you’ll learn all about the families that lived here and how it became a part of the University of Birmingham. Take a closer look.

11. Cadbury World, Bournville

Every chocolate lover’s dream day out! Discover the history behind your favourite chocolate treats and explore the magic of how they are created. The fabulous state-of-the-art Purple Planet lets you grow your own cocoa bean and experience chocolate rain. With so many amazing things to discover, including an adventure play area and the world’s biggest Cadburys shop, this is one delicious day out not to be missed! Take a closer look.

12. SnowDome®, Tamworth

Head to cooler climes as you ski or snowboard to your heart’s content this summer. This fantastic snow, ice, and leisure experience really does have something for everyone. With real snow, this is a seriously ‘cool’ alpine experience for all ages! Choose between the main slope or Snow Academy slopes according to your ability. Don’t miss the fantastic ice rink, which even has an ice track surrounding the rink – the only one in the UK and offers lessons for all ages as well as skating sessions. 14. Edgbaston Reservoir

A popular location for walkers, joggers, boat clubs and other water sports, enjoy some peace and quiet at the water’s edge. Walk, run or cycle around the 2.8km path around the reservoir and take a picnic along with you to refuel. The reservoir is home to a variety of birds, as well as newts and bats too!
