Its Christmas time, Lets make a treat!
Simple, festive and yummy to eat,
A pull apart dough ball Christmas tree,
Great to share with all the family!
What you’ll need:
Pizza Base Dough
Mozzarella Block
Flour
Butter
Parmesan Cheese
Thyme
One Medium Egg
First, start by pre-heating your oven to 200 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Next, slice your mozzarella block into small 1″ by 1″ squares. Set aside.
Using a little flour, roll out your pizza base dough into two sections.
Slice your dough into squares that will cover your mozzarella squares.
Cover your mozzarella squares with the dough to form small balls.
Start placing these on your baking tray to create the shape of a Christmas tree.
Once you have your tree’s shape, whisk your medium egg and brush over the tree.
Place your tree in the oven to bake for fifteen minutes.
Five minutes before your tree finishes baking, melt a small amount of butter in the microwave. You’ll only need to give it 10 seconds.
Stir in as much parmesan as you like, followed by your chopped up parsley.
Brush the mixture over your tree once it’s fresh out of the oven.
The final step? Enjoy your super yummy, as festive, Christmas tree treat!
