Another ‘luurvely’ Valentine gift idea! Melt your old bits of crayons into heart shapes and use to decorate cards or magnets…
Claire’s Tip: I am really pleased with the result of this little experiment….HOWEVER……things didn’t go quite to plan so BE CAREFUL!
You Need:
- Old crayons
- A silicone baking tray, heart shaped, buy here: http://amzn.to/1aMDAea
- An oven!
To Make:
- Break up old crayons into small pieces
- Fill up the sections of the rubber baking tray
- Put in the oven – I had the oven set to 200 c and left the crayons ‘cooking’ for 5 mins. This was either too hot or too long because look what happened!! (see below picture)
- But we perceived! Keep a close eye on your oven and once melted remove and allow to ‘set’.
- Peel out the heart shaped melted crayons and stick to a card with a heartfelt message!
