Mud Larking by the Thames: Millennium Bridge, London, 11th October, 11am
For those little budding archeaologist’s out there, head to the banks of the river Thames to dig for ancient treasures whilst being told stories of the areas past. Children will be rewarded with yummy mud pies and hot chocolate afterwards. The event is free, however places must be reserved to avoid disappointment.

This annual celebration for the Festival of Lights has plenty of music, food and activities to keep all the family entertained. There’s a children’s parade, traditional and contemporary performances, along with market stalls and workshops.
