What To Do This Half Term In The East Of England – October 2016

It’s October and the kids are off so it’s time to get out and about and enjoy some autumn sunshine. This half term there are some fantastic events taking place at an attraction near you and here’s my list of things NOT to miss!

Witches and Wizards Halloween Festival; Marsh Farm, Essex
24th – 31st October

27th – 30th October

  Fifteenth Anniversary Film Celebrations! The Making of Harry Potter; Warner Bros. Studio Tour, Leavesden, Hertfordshire
15th October – 4th November

For all the Harry Potter fans out there, make sure you don’t miss this awesome opportunity to be able to admire authentic sets, props and costumes that were created during the first production of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. One child goes free with one full paying adult with a ‘Days Out Card’

Take the family to see the large collection of birds, including over 80 birds of prey. 24th – 28th October

15th – 30th October

A spectacular treat awaits all the family at this lovely park in celebration of Halloween! During the day everyone can explore the park, listen to ghostly storytelling and make a fang-tastic glow in the dark lantern ready for an evening of spooktacular entertainment.
