Petal Power; Bristol Zoo Gardens, Bristol, 6th – 21st February, 9am – 5pm
There’s plenty of flower power going down at Bristol Zoo this half term! The kids will love the craft activities planned from decorating flower pots to making flower collages, and follow a special flower trail round the zoo as you search for bugs! Child entry is just £5 with a full paying adult ticket when you book online so don’t miss out!

Mission Explore; The Wild Place Project, Bristol, 6th – 21st February, 10am – 4pm
Bring the family along to complete 10 outdoor challenges this half term! Some of the missions include den building for a mini beast, make a leaf kebab, and identifying different species of bird! In addition there is also face painting, a colouring competition, and animal talks…wow, what an action packed day out!

Gingerbread Race; Roves Farm, Swindon, Wiltshire, 13th – 21st February, 10am – 4:30pm
Head to the farm and enjoy some half term fun with a Gingerbread Race inspired by the classic story The Gingerbread Man. The kids are sure to have a great time and don’t forget to say a big hello to all the animals whilst you’re there!

Stick Man Activity Trail; Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, until 28th February, 9am – 5pm
Head out for a day outdoors following a very fun trail with the Stick Man! Collect an activity pack and prepare for lots of exciting activities along the way!

Tutankhamun’s Tomb Half Term Workshop; Egypt Centre, Swansea, Wales, 16th – 19th February, 10am – 3pm
The little ones will have a great time at this Egyptian themed workshop as they learn about mummification and have a go themselves – on a dummy mummy! As well as learning about all things Egyptian, they will learn how to write their own names in hieroglyphs!

Marvellous Moon Trail; National Waterfront Museum, Swansea, Wales, 13th – 21st February, 10am – 4pm
Bring all the family to this free fun drop in event this half term which explores our marvellous moon through a gallery trail!

Half Term Fun; Carew Castle, Tenby, Wales, 13th – 21st February
Come along and visit this historic castle and listen to stories about princesses and knights in front of a fire! There are lots of fun arty activities for children throughout the week including shield making and giving calligraphy a go!

Half Term Fun at Tredegar House; Newport, Wales, 13th – 21st February, 11am – 4pm
Visit Tredegar House this half term where there’s lots going on for the kids to get stuck into! They can get involved in messy crafts and play, make bird feeders, and give bird watching a go, and even make a bird box to take home for the garden!

Activity Days at Chirk Castle; Wrexham, Wales, 16 – 17th February, 11am – 3pm
Head to Chirk Castle for a family day out during half term and try your hand at kite making and designing medieval sheep for the Wrexham sheep trail competition. As some of the activities are outdoors don’t forget to wrap up warm!

Half Term Activities at the National Botanic Garden of Wales; Carmarthen, Wales, 13th – 21st February, 12 – 4pm
There is plenty going on this half term at these gardens to keep the little ones occupied! Activities include popcorn making over a campfire, plenty of games, and keep your eyes peeled for The Stickman as you make some fantastic crafts!

Don’t miss this extremely action packed day of den building and cooking over an open fire with survival experts. This event is perfect for those Bear Grylls enthusiasts and best suited for children aged 5 – 16 years old.
