In line with current government guidance and industry advice, several new measures and protocols have been implemented at the attractions listed below to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for everyone. 1. Isle of Wight Beaches

With more than 60 miles of beaches, there’s plenty of spots for you and the family to choose from to build your sandcastles, have a dip in the sea and enjoy a yummy ice cream! One of the best Isle of Wright beaches for children and families is Shanklin. Sandown beach is fab for toddlers too! Both offer lots of stress-reducing facilities such as easy parking, decent toilets, cafes selling chips and beachside amusements like mini-golf and pedalo! Sandown has a pier also.

2. Amazon World Zoo Park

Awarded top attraction by I.of.W Tourism and the largest exotic animal attraction on the Isle of Wight, Amazon World Zoo Park is an attraction not be missed! Home to 200 unusual rare and exotic animals for you to see, plus daily meet the animal sessions taking place, the zoo makes an awesome day out for families! 3. Dinosaur Isle Museum

Do you have mini dino fans in your household? The Dinosaur Isle museum, which was the first purpose-built dinosaur museum,  displays over 1000 of the best fossils in interactive displays. On a recreated landscape enhanced by sights, smells, and sounds you will meet life-sized dinosaurs including the animatronic Neovenator. Find out more here.

4. Blackgang Chine – Land of Imagination

Lose yourself in the Land of Imagination at Blackgang Chine – one of the biggest Isle of Wight attractions for families! Enjoy exhibitions, slides and rides, and themed play areas. Make sure to check out the Underwater Kingdom and Dinosaur Area, these are both definitely going to be big hits with the kids.  Find out more here.

5. Carisbrooke Castle

Explore the castle at the heart of the Isle of Wight which has been an artillery fortress, king’s prison and a royal summer residence. Experience panoramic views from the high castle walls, exciting exhibitions, interactive donkey demonstrations and most importantly there is lots of open space for little ones to burn off steam! 6. Monkey Haven

7. Isle of Wight Steam Railway

Whilst this one is not exactly a kids attractions, it is sure to be a firm favourite with fans of Thomas and Friends! You can take a look around at the beautifully restored locomotives of the Isle of Wight Steam railway or take a journey along the tracks.
