Wednesday 22nd April is world Earth Day,
We can all come together and help in our own way!
Help to save the planet starting today,
by making small changes and having your say!
It’s Earth Day! An annual event celebrated around the world on April 22nd to demonstrate support for environmental protection. So why not get into the eco-friendly spirit and consider changing some everyday household items going forward! The smallest changes can help massively in the long run! I’ve made a list of some of my favourite items.
1. Penguin reusable water bottle
Having a reusable water bottle is a great way to stop using plastic water bottles, plus, with the cute penguin design, it will make children want to use this even more! You can get this adorable penguin water bottle here.
If you’re looking for a reusable water bottle that also keeps your drink ice cold for 24 hours then this is perfect for you! Not only is this water bottle great for keeping your drink cold, but it also comes in lots of different colours, so I’m sure you’ll easily be able to find the perfect one for you. Get this cooling water bottle here.
2. Reusable coffee mug
This is perfect for those much needed early morning coffees! Instead of having your coffee in a takeaway cup, bring your own. A lot of coffee chains also reduce the cost of your coffee as you’re not paying for a cup! Get this reusable coffee mug here.
3. Reusable metal straws
I’m sure you have heard just how bad straws are for not only the environment but also sea creatures! These metal straws not only come with 4 straight and 4 curved but they also are in a cool oil slick colour. Get these funky metal straws here.
4. Beeswax crayons
Beeswax crayons are great for little ones when creating their colourful masterpieces! These crayons are made from 100% pure beeswax and don’t contain any paraffin. Get your beeswax crayons here.
5. Reusable shopper bags
Going shopping and forgetting your bags is one of the most annoying things that can happen! Get a pack of these reusable cotton shoppers and what’s even better is that they come in a pack of 3. Get your cotton shoppers here.
6. Bamboo toothbrushes
A lot of us forget just how bad toothbrushes are for the environment. So, instead of buying your usual plastic toothbrushes, swap them over for these bamboo ones! I love the colours of the bristles, plus this handy four-pack will keep you going for a while. Get these cool bamboo toothbrushes here.
7. Compostable bin liners
Make a small change by switching to compostable bin liners! These bin liners are plastic-free making them eco-green yet still durable and reliable. Get 150 liners here.
8. Beeswax wraps
These funky coloured wraps are the perfect alternative to cling film and foil! I also think these would be perfect for wrapping kids sandwiches in for school packed lunches. Get these cool coloured beeswax wraps in a pack of 3 here.
9. Reusable makeup remover pads
Whether you wear make up every day or now and again, these are definitely needed for removing makeup! These reusable makeup removers not only are super soft, but they’re also very cost-efficient as they last a very long time. Get your pack of 6 makeup removers here.
10. Reusable freezer bags
These reusable freezer bags are super handy! You can also use them for on the go snacks or kids lunchboxes. Get a 9 pack of freezer bags here.
