If you’re looking for an extra special Mother’s Dat craft to make for your lovely mum, give this paper heart wreath a go! It’s super easy and will add a colourful touch of spring the the house too!
What you’ll need:
4 sheets of different coloured card
Glue
Scissors
Ribbon or twine
To make:
First start by cutting out strips horizontally across the card. Two strips from each card will be enough!
Fold the strips in half.
Add a dot of glue on one of the top outside ends of the strip.
Fold the two ends of the strip so that they meet to create a heart shape. Hold the glued ends for a moment before releasing to make sure it sticks!
Repeat this with the rest of your strips.
Arrange all the hearts into the shape of your wreath.
Start gluing your hearts together by adding a dot of glue halfway down the side of each one.
Repeat until all of your hearts are glued together. Leave to dry completely.
Now add your ribbon or twine! I’ve added cute bows to the ends of each of my twine for added effect.
And voila! Now all you need to do is find a home for your wreath where your lovely mum can see it!
