Magical Mother’s Day Events

This year all the beautiful mummies will be celebrated on the 6th March (and we can’t wait!). How do you spend your day, are you waited on hand and foot or do your family need a bit of (ahem) prompting? Either way what we do realise is that happy kids equals happy mums, so we’ve found some lovely Mother’s Day family days out to celebrate your awesomeness!

Mother’s Day at KidZania; KidZania London – Grown up’s go FREE – Book tickets here!

Celebrate Mother’s Day with the little ones at KidZania on Sunday and Mum’s (or a grown up) visit for free! There’s also loads of crafty fun going on including jewellery and card making, plus portrait painting for the kids and their parents to get involved in!

Mother’s Day at Puzzlewood; Coleford, Gloucestershire – 10am – 4:30pm

Visit Puzzlewood on Mother’s Day and your day will be captured forever to treasure! All Mum’s can have a professional photo taken with their children amongst the beautiful forest, and they get to keep their special snap for free!

Say ‘Thank You’ on Mother’s Day! Brownsea Island, Poole Harbour, Dorset – 11am – 3pm

Head to Brownsea Island for a memorable Mother’s Day where the children can make something really special for their mum. Afterwards, treat her to a yummy cream tea in the Islands cafe to show her how special she is.

Mother’s Day Craft and Trail; Basildon Park, Reading, Berkshire – 5th and 6th March 10am – 5pm

During the Mother’s Day weekend, bring the kids along to make their mum a very special gift. There is also a super fun spring daffodil trail to follow too!

Take your mum to see the beautiful orchids at these famous gardens and she won’t be disapppointed! With a Brazilian carnival theme, the glasshouse will be alive with colour and vibrant plants!

Mother’s Day High Tea; Bodiam Castle, Robertsbridge, East Sussex

Celebrate Mother’s Day at this stunning castle where you will enjoy a very scrummy high tea in these beautiful grounds. Mums will also receive a special gift and a bunch of flowers!

Mother’s Day at West Dean Gardens; Chichester, West Sussex – 9am – 5pm

Visit these delightful gardens on Mother’s Day to marvel at the beautiful Spring flowers in all their glory. Mums even get free entry as a very special treat!

Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea; Dreamland, Margate, Kent – Sittings at 12pm and 3pm

Treat mum to a wonderful traditional afternoon tea in a 1920’s Ballroom and this theme park. There will be tasty sandwiches, cakes and scones, plus a glass of prosecco to toast a lovely day!

Mothering Sunday Boat Ride; Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve, Ely, Cambridgeshire – 11:30am – 12:30pm

Mum will absolutely love a relaxing boat trip along Wicken Lode on her special day. Admire the scenery and look out for wildlife whilst the grown-ups enjoy a glass of fizz!

Mothering Sunday Tour and High Tea; Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire – 10am and 1pm

For a lovely Mother’s Day treat, head to Tatton Park where those amazing mum’s will definitely be spoilt! Firstly enjoy a tour of the servants quarters and staterooms of the beautiful house, followed by a high tea served by a butler whilst enjoying stunning views of the gardens.
