Ragged School Museum

This fantastic museum takes you back in time to see what Victorian life was like; experience a Victorian classroom or join in with one of their half term activities!

Royal Airforce Museum London


If your little ones are budding pilots then a visit to this fantastic museum is a must! Lots to learn about the history of the RAF through brilliant interactive activities including a 3D cinema, light and sound show, the ‘Bomb Bay’ television underneath the giant Vulcan Bomber and so much more.

Roskilly’s

Worth the trip down the windy road, this friendly and fun organic farm has delicious treats to try, beautiful walks, cheeky goats and other animals to meet and the chance to see the cows being milked from the viewing gallery.

Manor Farm Shop

This traditional family run farm welcome visitors to meet some of their animals, buy some of the fabulous homegrown and homemade produce and enjoy activities organised for the children throughout the year.

National Football Museum

For the footy fans in your family this museum will be their heaven, dedicated to showing the history of the beautiful game; with famous trophies, kits and photographs from the past. Summerlee- The Museum of Scottish Life

RSPB Coombes Valley Park

For a great day outdoors then bring the family to this woodland, where you can pick up a Wildlife Explorer backpack and head on out to spot lots of birds and wildlife. In half term there are Wild Art Activity Days for a fun filled day (small charge for parking).
