White Cliffs of Dover


This magnificent coastal site overlooking the English Channel has some spectacular views and makes a great day out of walking and exploring. Viking Bay

This beautifully traditional beachfront feels like a step back in time! It is beautiful all year round but particularly in the summer, when the golden sand shines and the sun is out. There are fish & chip shops and restaurant to keep everyone fed, and a fairground to go crazy in! Find out more.

The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge

In the heart of Canterbury lives this beautiful family friendly musuem featuring local information an artefacts, paintings, furniture, stuffed animals and exciting events. Mote Park


Mote Park is a large green space over 450 acres of woodland, grassland, rivers and a acre lake. Can you believe it’s been around since medieval times?! Perfect place for a summer family walk as there are beautiful views to see, a great children’s play area, and a café for those hungry tummies after! Find out more.

Rochester Guildhall Museum

Discover the amazing history of the Medway area within one of the finest 17th century buildings in Kent. Visit the new The Making of Mr Dickens gallery where you can explore the author’s childhood in the Medway growing into the world’s most celebrated writer. Step aboard a reconstruction of part of a 18th century prison hulk, touch a 200,000-year-old axe, and much more! Herne Bay Pier

Herne Bay is an exciting place where fun can be found for the whole family and the pier is a hotspot of fun! There is lots to do from enjoying delicious food and drink, riding old fashioned fairground horses, having a go on the helter-skelter, and browsing the numerous retail huts. Shorne Woods Country Park

Buttercups Sanctuary for Goats

This amazing charity provides sanctuary for goats that are in need of loving home to spend the rest of their lives. They are doing amazing work nursing these beautiful creatures back to health and giving them the love they deserve. You can spend the day getting to know the goats that live here which is a great activity for kids any age! No booking is required and entry is free although donations are encouraged as it is a charity. Find out more.

Swanley Park

Swanley park offers a fun filled family day out with a wide range of attractions and activities. Entry to the park is free, as well as the splash park from 11am-5pm on weekends, school and bank holidays, however some attractions require a payment and pre booking. The new paddling pool and watersplash area, plus sand play and family enclosure are all new exciting additions, and children can use up their energy nearby at the large, well equipped play area including swings, climbing frame and a zip wire. Lower Leas Coastal Park

The Lower Leas Coastal Park is home to the largest free adventure play area in the South East. This popular coastal park is split into The Wild Zone, The Fun Zone and The Formal Zone. There is lots of fun to be had from the impressive playground with something for babies through to teenagers. There are lots of picnic tables and BBQ areas dotted around for you to use. The park is part of the beach where theatre and musical performances take place during the warmer months. Find out more. 

Dreamland Margate

This fantastic Theme Park is  the oldest in the country and an integral part of Margate’s history. It promises an exciting day for the whole family exploring all the wonderful rides it has on offer. From classic sideshows, traditional fairground rides, and concerts throughout the year there is so much to do!
