Caithness Glass Factory, Crieff

Come along to Caithness Glassy Factory where you’ll see how the craftsmen and women make the pieces in an up-close environment. Little artists can even paint their own piece of glass! Adults can also have a go at crafting their very own personalised paperweight. Find out more.

Aquarium at World Museum Liverpool, Liverpool

Sheffield Botanical Gardens, Sheffield

Walk around these gorgeous gardens and discover stunning flowers and plants, coupled with wonderful sights and smells! The Greylake RSPB Nature Reserve, Glastonbury

Originally farmland, this RSPB site has become a perfect home to wetland birds and lots of other wildlife. During the Summer you’ll get to see curlews and redshanks and in the Winter many birds arrive including shovelers and swan’s. A small family-run organic farm in the beautiful countryside with lots of opportunities to meet and play with a variety of farmyard animals. House of Marbles, Bovey Tracey

Centre for Wildlife Gardening, London

Originally an old council depot, this award winning visitor centre demonstrates innovative environmental building techniques. The demonstration wildlife garden has mini habitats, a wild flower nursery, and some very well-used community raised beds. Southsea Castle, Southsea

Built in 1544, this stunning castle was one of Henry VIII’s forts. Climbing to the top of the keep will give you some breath-taking views across the Solent and Portsmouth. Bring your little budding artists along to paint some pottery, dip candles, craft herbals or even make a unique bar of chocolate!
