To treat all Dad’s for being there,
And always showing their endless love and care,
We’ve got some great ideas for how to spend Father’s Day,
Where families can show Dad he’s loved in every way!
🍩1. Spoil him with his favourite treats!🍩
Is your Dad a foodie at heart? Treat him to his all-time favourite sweet treats! After all, you can’t beat some homemade goodies! The kids will love getting involved and helping with this too.
🚴🚶2. Enjoy a walk or bike ride outdoors!🚶🚴
Whilst social distancing measures remain in place, you can still enjoy a nice family walk at a park or forest local to you! Lots of the National Trust sites have reopened too. Or if spending the day cruising around on two wheels sounds more appealing to Dad then why not all go on a family bike ride.
🎲3. Play board games with the family!🎲
There is a variety of board games to chose from!! From treasured classics like monopoly and Scrabble to new favourites like Speak Out!
📝4. Write your dad a letter📝
Make Dad feel super special this Father’s Day and write him a letter! We have created a fab one for little kids to fill out for their Dads. Download and print it here!
🏅5. Have a pub quiz at home!🏅
Does your Dad love showing of his knowledge in a pub quiz? Hold your very own ‘pub’ quiz at home! Serve up his favourite drink (and snacks too!!) and make up a set of questions. You will often find questions made up by the kids can be rather tricky for the older generations!
What have you been up to lately? We’d really love to know Someone else might love it, and really want to go! If you’ve got ideas, suggestions or reviews, you can shout all about it on whatever channel you choose!
