Watford Half Marathon and Family Fun Run

This UK Athletics Gold Graded event has strong history within the running community and has been taking place for over 40 years! The new family fun run is a 1.8km run open to all ages (under 8’s must be accompanied by a full paying adult)! Mercer Surrey Kids Run

The Mercer Surrey Kids Run, is a perfect opportunity for your child to support their local community and charitable causes whilst having lots of fun with family and friends! Children in previous years, have made a tradition of sprinting the first 100m, before racing along a fully-closed 2km route which is lined with marshals, live bands and cheering spectators. Whilst this kids run is designed for children for complete themselves, if your children would prefer to run with you that’s no problem too! Elvington Flyer Family Fun Run

The popular Elvington Flyer is returning for it’s fifth year! The family fun run will start at 10am and take place on the main runway before the 5 mile and 10 mile events. The course is flat and fast, making it perfect for the whole family to get involved. There will be no entries on the day, so all races must be pre-booked online via their website. Colour Run 2022

This exciting running event new for 2022 is run by First Days and is suitable for the whole family to enjoy! Walk, run, dance or hop you away around this 2.5km course, either once or twice! For that added extra fun, there will be four colour stations located around the course where from the help of some ‘colour ninjas’ who will be throwing paint between your shoulder and feet…you should emerge a different colour to the one you started the course! Houghton Trail Run 2022

The Houghton Trail Run is a cross country fun run and cycle event that takes place each spring in Houghton Hampshire and has been running for over 14 years now! There are 5 races to choose from, all of which are mainly off-road (so not suitable for buggies this one). If running with older challenge and fancy a challenge, then the 11k trail run would be a great one to go for, or if your family consists of little ones then your best bet is the 4k fun run. Henley Kids Fun Triathlon 2022

Whilst technically not just a running race, we had to include this Triathlon as it looks so much fun for kids! This fun event is open to children ages 5 to 16 years and consists of a swim, cycle and run challenge suitable for all abilities. Carnival Chase

Carnival Chase runs, which is supporting Warminster Carnival, has a 10k, 3k and 1.2k, meaning there is the perfect run to suit the whole family! The 10k race is open to runners over the age of 16 years, and both the 3k and 1.2k race is open to all but under 10’s must be accompanied by an adult!
