Egg-straordinary Easter Events

We have been very busy adding Easter events to our new website and App. There’s so much going on that we have gathered a selection from all over the UK in this blog.

Spring into Easter, 4^th, 5^th & 6th April, Belfast City Hall

There’s going to be lots of free family entertainment this Easter in Belfast City Hall. You will find arts and craft activities, storytelling, drama workshops and much more.

Lee Valley Country Fair, Waltham Abbey, 5^th – 6^th April

There’s going to be so much happening at Lee Valley Country Fair. Entertainment will include Jez Avery Motorcycle Stunts, birds of prey flying displays, ferret racing and lots more! There will also be children’s activities such as bottle feeding lambs and arts and craft sessions.

Chirk Castle, Wrexham, 3^rd – 6^th April

There’s lots going on this Easter at Chirk Castle. You will find Easter egg trails taking place, face painting and medieval themed crafts and games.

Netley Abbey, Southampton, 3^rd – 6^th April

Visit Netley Abbey to make some Easter themed crafts and to follow the special Easter Trail. To complete the trail you will need to find all the clues to help you finish the quiz, before you can collect your prize.

Bodiam Castle, East Sussex, 28^th March – 12^th April

There’s an outlaw theme to Bodiam Castle’s Easter activities. They’re inviting your little rebels to join in with the Cadbury Easter Egg Trail where they will have to hunt high and low to find the clues to help them get to the end. Once completed there will be a chocolatey reward!

Hever Castle, Kent, March 28^th – April 19^th

Hop into action this Easter at Hever Castle! You need to pick up a map to find out where the Lindt gold bunny has been on its adventures and once you have successfully completed the trail you will get a chocolatey prize! There will also be craft workshops and a quiz about Easter traditions.

Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornwall, 28^th – 12^th April

This Easter at the Lost Gardens of Heligan you need to search for the native bird eggs hidden around the gardens, once you’ve found them all you will receive a chocolate prize. There will also be some creative sessions where you can make your own bunny headdress, decorate some eggs or even build mud nests.

Liverpool Food and Drink Festival, Sefton Park, 5^th – 6^th April

This family food and drink festival will have an array of interactive activities and children’s entertainment. You will be able to cuddle some animals at the petting zoo, go on an egg hunt, compete in an egg and spoon race and of course there is going to be lots of all the food and drink to try!

Spring is a great time to visit WWT London Wetlands Centre as there’s lots of new life bursting all around. This Easter some ducklings have gone missing and you will need to find them all, you will be rewarded. There will also be lots of other Easter-related activities for families.

Discover Children’s Story Centre, London, 3^rd – 17^th April

This Easter is the 20^th anniversary of the picture book ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ and Discover have a number of storytelling and craft activities planned to celebrate. You will also be able to explore Discover’s garden with its huge pirate ship, climbing wall and monster slide.

Combo-Kidz,  Stoke on Trent, 6th – 17th April.
