Camp Bestival activities are varied and fun,
They’ve even got a wild 5k run.

Check out our list which will make you smile.

There are so many free things to do at Camp Bestival! It’s a festival unlike any other, in the sense that the variety of activities are seemingly endless. We’ve put together a selection of our favourites, but check out Camp Bestival yourself, to see what else they’ve got on this year.

Horrible Histories

Horrible Histories is a crowd favourite! They’ll be at Camp Bestival pleasing the audiences with their gruesome songs about blood and battles with plenty of dark humour included. Learn the twisted truth about different eras throughout history.

Roller Disco

Let the good times roll with this free roller disco! There’s free skate hire – yes you did read that right! Free skates! So nothing can get in the way of you whizzing around the arena showing off your best dance moves. The fun of a roller disco is waiting for you.

Giant Inflatables

When we say giant inflatable, we mean insanely huge! We’re talking about the world’s biggest bouncy castle! Camp Bestival’s castle is a whopping 23.8 metres long and 20.7 metres wide – that’s a lot of bouncing space. Boing on over to this humongous structure when you visit. This is one for adults and kids alike.

Cosmic Kids Yoga

Jaime Amor from Cosmic Kids is hosting a live kids’ yoga session! Known for presenting her enthusiastic, fun and engaging yoga classes to children all across the world, she will be joining Camp Bestival this year to present her storytelling yoga class. Jaime aims to make a positive impact on kids’ well-being – she’s certainly a joy to watch – make sure you catch her.

BigTopMania

Inside the BigTopMania you’ll lose your mind with the daring stunts and incredible performances! They run different circus workshops all throughout the festival. Bring your kid here and you’ll arrive with a child and leave with a circus skilled clown!

African Drumming Circle

Whether you have rhythm or you’re always missing the beat – this is an activity for everyone! Come and join in with the music and sit in a drumming circle to learn how to play the djembe. These friendly leaders will have you drumming as one in no time.

Spectacular Fireworks show

A highlight for many Camp Bestival attendees. These fireworks light up the sky in a bright and beautiful display on Sunday evening, however, they also indicate the end of the festival! It’s a bittersweet brilliant evening, make sure you catch the show.

Poi dance workshop with Jitterbug Circus

Poi is an art form, which when done correctly looks visually stunning, but if performed wrong you’ll end up in a tangled mess! Go and meet the Jitterbug Circus for their free poi dance workshops, showing you how to become the best performer with these bright orbs.

Listen to storytelling in the woods

With all the busyness of the maddening and joyful activities, it’s sometimes nice to find a quiet spot to relax. This is exactly why this activity is so fantastic. In the serenity of the woods, listen to the tranquil tales of some favourite stories. A welcomed change of scenery.

Dingly Dell

Dingly Dell is a colourful activity area where you can explore the great outdoors. We think the best activities are their Bushcraft survival skills, where you’ll learn basic knowledge on how to survive in the wild! Also, their mud pie activity is a winner. Without a doubt Camp Bestival take mud pie baking to the next level! So get your hands dirty at the Dingly Dell.

Family 5k wild run around the festival

Even if you’re not usually into running, you’re bound to enjoy this 5k wild run around the festival. Bring your trainers and enjoy a gentle jog around Camp Bestival, witnessing the wild beauty of the location.

What have you been up to lately? We’d really love to know! Someone else might love it, and really want to go! If you’ve got ideas, suggestions or reviews, you can shout all about it on whatever channel you choose!
