Spring is in the air and it means it’s time to get outdoors and have some fun! We will keep are fingers crossed for plenty of sunny (or at least not rainy days) . Here are some fun things we plan on doing!
1) Planting!
To keep things simple I grow strawberries and sunflowers in a terracotta pots with my little ones. We take photos every few days as a record of the changes that take place.
Planting a vegetable garden is a great way to teach children how plants grow and where their food comes from. One of the easiest ways is by getting a grow bag (usually quite cheap) and planting some seeds or baby plants in them.
2) Fly a kite
3) Have a teddy bears picnic!
4) Go for a walk
5) Blow Bubbles
6) Draw on the patio with chalk
7) Collecting fallen flowers on a stick
Blossom and new flowers are either falling or fallen on the ground already. We picked the fallen ones up and made a colourful flower kebab!
8) Make a daisy chain
Another one that I am sure you did when you were a child. Nice and easy and they are pretty too! Pick them then make a small hole in and thread the next daisy through the hole.
Spring is the time to enjoy being outdoors after the long dark winter, any of these activities are great and if you want more ideas visit our website for exciting activities and attractions.
