5 reasons to visit Longleat this half term

The children have a week off school,
And it’s the spookiest season of all!
Longleat have some tricky treats in store,
Pumpkins, owls and ghosts – it’s Halloween galore!

1. Pumpkin Carving

20th October – 4th November

Venture around the Park where giant pumpkins have sprouted – there’s a tricky challenge to solve in return for a sweet treat. Pumpkin mad? Spend quality time carving pumpkins with your little ones! Pumpkin Carving is an additional cost of £3 per pumpkin.

2. Owls at Autumn

20th October – 4th November

If you’re not already having a hoot of a time at Longleat, check out the live owl flying demonstrations! You can see barn and tawny owls flying in The Longhouse every day.

3. Ghost Tours

24th October – 4th November

Get into the spooky season at one of the ghastly Ghost Tours taking place four times a day from 24th October. You’ll hear, and maybe even see a few of Longleat House’s ghostly residents. It’s not for the fainthearted! Go in search of mysterious apparitions in its gloomy cellars, shadowy attics and chilling corridors. Pre-booking is strongly recommended as places are limited to a maximum of 10 per group.

4. Fantastic Fireworks

1st – 3rd November

Don’t forget to celebrate your day with an epic display courtesy of Longleat’s Fantastic Fireworks. Spectacular pyrotechnic displays set to an epic soundtrack of modern classics make a great end to your visit.
