14 Rainy Day Crafts Created by You!

Lots of you sent in photographs or things you have made with your kids. We have selected a few of the best to hopefully inspire you!

1) Caterpillar Sandwich

 

Now here is some creative lunch time fun, what a  fun sandwich that my kids would love! Good work Sarah Roberts.

2) Love you to pieces card

 

This is such a cute design for a card, nice and easy for the little ones to try… time to get out the scissors, blue and card and get making. Thank you Michelle Norman for sending us this photograph.

3) Peppa Pig Counting room decoration

 

Steed Rowland sent this in, she made it for her little girl to help her learn to count, we love Peppa Pig and so many games can be played with this.

4) Pizza Faces

 

I love making my own pizzas and the kids do to, so make them into faces with a few simple ingredients just like Amber Young has.

5) Paint with bubbles

 

Such a fun and easy activity to do and they make paintings that you can keep.

Add some paint to water and some washing up liquid, and using a straw make bubbles onto the paper, thank you Claire Harvey for sending in this idea.

6)Homemade spaceman jetpack

Love the creativity with this idea, all using materials that I have at home. Looks like Han Blake used plastic bottles, card board box, foil, tissue paper gaffa tape and some straps.

7) Loo roll minions

Carla Warren sent in this brilliant photograph of some loo roll minions that she made, love the googley eyes.

8) Button Artwork

These would look great on anyones wall make them to decorate your own house or give as a gift, they look like lots of fun to make thanks Becki Clewes for sending us this photograph.

9) Hand and footprint artwork

 

I couldn’t help myself I had to awwww at this cute creation from Beki Gomm, what a personal memento to make for daddy.

10) Cardboard Spaceship

We were sent may images of creative box craft, my favourite was this spaceship. Draw on buttons and controls and hours of imaginative fun can be had, thanks for the photograph of your creation Claire Gallinagh.

11) Egg carton Ow

This looks like a happy owl, great use of an egg carton sent in by Katarina Bullingham. I love the heart -shaped feathers in the centre.

12) Papier mâché dinosaur

This is such a creative use of paper mâché-what an adorable dinosaur, bet it was lots of messy fun to make! Thanks for the photograph Zoe Sahin.

13) Cardboard Box Wall E

Wall E is one of my kids favourite movies and this is a great use of cardboard, the kids would love making this. Good work Jade Tagell whose little boy made this with his grandma.

14) Paper Beard and Matching Eye Patch

These look simple and fun to make, love these paper beards sent in by Bona Valbona.
