Godstone Farm, Surrey
At Godstone Farm in Surrey kids will love meeting and feeding the animals, including the friendly ponies, pigs, sheep and Llamas. Give the chicks and rabbits a cuddle in the Animal Handling Barn and enter the ‘creature caves’ to see which creepy creatures live in the darkened spaces! Farmer Palmer’s Farm Park
If you are looking for a great fun-filled day out for the whole family you can’t go wrong with Farmer Palmers! It is packed with brilliant attractions and adorable animals. Kids will be spoilt for choice with indoor and outdoor play areas, bumpy tractor-trailer rides plus plenty of cuddles with cute animals. There is a live cow-milking demonstration for the little ones to learn all about where milk comes from and everyone will love the daily bottle feeding of the lambs and goats where anyone can have a go! Greenlands Farm Village, Lancashire
There’s so much to see at Greenlands Farm Village! In the open farm you will have the chance to get hands-on with a variety of animals from snakes to goats. The kids can also ride a donkey, play in the straw barn and race around on go-karts. The soft play area is for children up to 12 years old and has exciting flying fox, four-lane slide, aerial rope bridge, huge scramble net and super squeezy rollers. There is a separate toddler’s area for the little ones and seating for the adults to relax. There’s also an artisan village for you to browse and a café where you can relax and enjoy good food. This 600 acre working farm has so much to offer for all the family. There are a variety of activities for the children to enjoy including horse riding, feeding the baby animals, you can marvel at the meerkats and wander to the wallaby’s! Walnut Tree Farm Park is a lovely little place to take your whole family. There is so much to see and do, including tractor rides, go-kart rides and pony rides! There are country walks for the whole family to go on, plus a soft play area for your little ones to run riot in! Everyone will love meeting some of the farm animals and you can play with the smaller animals, including rabbits and guinea pigs. Covering 134 acres, Doonies Farm is a lovely place to bring the kids! You’ll see some wonderful animals, including chicks, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, horses and loads more fascinating animals! The farm aims to educate people on the animals and rural life, whilst providing a refuge for endangered and native farm animals. Butser Ancient Farm, Hampshire
Butser Ancient Farm is a fascinating place to visit. Using evidence obtained from excavations, it is a reconstructed working farm from the Iron Age. See houses built from clay, wood and thatch and some rare breed sheep and goats. Find out what people ate and how they survived from the Stone Age to the Anglo Saxons. Kids can dig up artefacts, listen to fascinating talks, follow trails and drink hot chocolate around the fire. Mead Open Farm, Leighton Buzzard
A great family attraction rain or shine, with lots of animals to make friends with and plenty of attractions to keep you busy. The kids will love being able to pet rabbits, watch the sheep racing, bottle feeding lambs, grooming shetland ponies or watching a cow getting milked. To let off a bit of steam there is Shaggy’s PlayWorld, over 13,000 square feet of fun where everyone can play. There is also go karts, crazy golf, tractor and trailer rides an exhilarating high-ropes course and much more.
